This is where you can look to see the reading plan for the next few days or maybe weeks. We take it book by book. We have read through several Old and New Testament books. Since the Old Testament has about twice as many books at the New Testament I usually stay with that ratio. I checked out our progress in each of the Old and New Testaments and found that we have gotten pretty even in the number of books that are left. I decided to do a couple of books in the New Testament next, Colossians and Ephesians. Those two books were written together along with Philemon and are three of the four so-called Prison Epistles (Letters) by Paul. We just finished Colossians so now it’s on to Ephesians. You will want to be sure to read the “Intro’s” as you start each book. They explain things about the history behind the book and in this case that includes why they are called “Prison Letters”. In the Old Testament we have been working through the Prophets chronologically and will probably return to them after a couple of New Testament books. Remember if you are registered and logged in you can make your own comments on the reading. To get to the comment section you need to choose the daily reading from the “Daily Reading Schedule” (this page) by clicking on the date you want to read or click on the “more” button if you are reading on the Home page. That will put you on the page with the comment box.

Can’t wait!
i already read it where is your blog about it
The post about the daily reading is on the Home page in the center. It’s the box under the one that says Delta Force Junior High Ministries. The title of the daily reading post will be the reference for the day for the day
Mr. Myron, can u friend people on here?
This is a blog so you cannot “friend” people which is a “Facebook” thing. You can like or post this to Facebook or Twitter using the “Like” button.
Mr. Plotz, will we be able to use this when we are in High School?
Of course you can. This is open to anyone.
Myron did you find a way to change the avatar
Haven’t worked on that yet. Trying to get the next book ready for the reading list and an intro for it.
Where is today’s Daily Reading Schedule?
Phillip. The reading schedule is on the right of the home page, click on “Daily Reading Schedule” and it will take you to the schedule. As we begin a new book I will list the reading schedule for it. We just started Judges and I only listed the first day, today, so far. I will post the rest of it sometime tonight. Also on the home page the center column is the blog post and the top post is the reading for that day. At the end of each post before the next one there is a button “more”. If you clock on more it will take you to a page with that one post on it and a place for comments. I hope all of you will comment on the reading each day as you complete it.
By the way. If you do post a comment you will want to do it on the page for the particular day’s reading. You do this by clicking the “more” button at the end of the particular day’s post.
Hey Myron just wanted to know for the blue paper you handed out last Sunday do we just have to wright just the bible verses from the book we have to read or can we wright any verse?
The idea is to use the paper to help you remember things you have read that you liked and why you liked them. So if you read Jude and something was cool or impressive or profound or whatever you would write that part down and why. If you read something else this week you could write that down instead. For class though I hope you read the Jude stuff.
Hey Myron we miss you! hope all is well in Texas!
