We are in the middle and we have just started a new series looking at the book of Job. It’s new to the students but a book I have taught several times. It is a favorite of the students because of some unusual illustrations that I use as well as weekly skits in which Job battles with his friend over their advise. Our theme this year is Feast. In Psalm 34:8 we are told to taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in him”. Although it may not seem like it Job was truly “blessed” because he took refuge in God. We can learn a lot from Job about the true meaning of blessing and the just how to have peace in the middle of great trials.
